Shohreh Fallah: Bio

A woman with long, wavy brown hair smiling and wearing a green dress with red and white patterns, standing next to a colorful abstract painting featuring a face and antlers, in an art studio or gallery setting.

Shohreh Fallah is an Iranian–Australian painter whose work reflects the pull of two homelands — the sunlit, biodiverse landscapes of Australia and the timeless poetic heritage of Persia.

Born in Iran in the 1960s, she discovered a quiet joy during her school years, sketching fine, delicate lines that carried the spirit of Persian miniature painting.

Her path eventually carried her across continents, through many challenges, before she made a home in South Australia.

Shohreh Fallah’s artwork today expresses luminous colour, refined texture, and deep emotional presence.

Each work carries quiet strength and a sense of uplift, inviting viewers into a world of beauty that feels intimate, powerful, and unforgettable. This is art created to be lived with, collected, and cherished.
